Contribute and help
Taking part in HackForSweden 2018? There's a special page for you!
You've recently discovered the project Din Riksdag and you'd like to help to make it a reality? You are welcome!
The goal of Din Riksdag is to rejuvenate the Swedish democracy and we believe democracy works better when it is open and transparent. For this reason, everything we do is public and we are open to any contribution or suggestion!
Depending on your position, skills and interests, there are different ways you can get involved:
You are an elected representative or a candidate
When it is ready, we hope you will use the platform to consult the citizens who elected you, to write legislations that fit their needs better and conduct projects more transparently. In the meantime, we would love to hear about your experience of dialoguing with citizens and what you would like to be able to do on Din Riksdag. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
You are a citizen living in Sweden
Din Riksdag is not only designed as a way for elected representatives to seek feedback and validation. It also features powerful tools for citizens to influence the policies of their country by associating themselves and creating complex proposals together. We believe this approach is critical to the project and we want citizens involved as much as possible in the development of the platform. You can suggest ideas or criticism at email@example.com and there will soon be a dedicated space on the platform where you can debate about the future of the platform.
More practically, you can also help by translating the platform or by helping to fill it with helpful content for newcomers.
You are a developer
Would you like to code for democracy? Our project is entirely open source and we welcome people that can improve it. You can find the code and the roadmap on Github and contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to ask for help to get started!
You represent an association, a party or any organisation
Din Riksdag is thought as a space for citizens to come together and to organise themselves. It features advanced tools for organisations that want to use it to organise debates, surveys, (physical) meetings and events, but also to be more transparent, accountable and democratic. Contact us at email@example.com to see how your organisation can get a space on Din Riksdag.
